1. In its menu click Tools.
2. Click on Accounts.
3. Click on the Properties button.
4. Click on the Servers tab.
5. Under Servers Information:
   1. Incoming mail server: pop.uci.net
   2. Outgoing mail server: smtp.uci.net
6. Under Incoming Mail Server:
   1. Username, enter your full email address (using @uci.net).
   2. Password, enter your password.
7. It's okay to have a check in Remember Password.
8. No check in Log on using secure password authentication.
9. Put a check in last box, Outgoing Mail Server, My server requires authentication.
10. Click on Okay.
