Pendleton BCH

The Pendleton chapter of the Back Country Horsemen of Oregon was formed June 1999, with less than 10 members. Now the Pendleton BCH holds 40 memberships (some single, some family).

The Pendleton chapter has participated in the Pendleton Round-Up parade and the Sportsman Showcase at the Pendleton Convention Center each year of it's existence, trying to get word out.

The Pendleton chapter has adopted "Big Creek Trail" outside of Ukiah.  Each year the club clears the trail of debris and will be repairing the bridge as needed.  We also hope to continue other trail repair projects as available.

This year the chapter hopes to hold 2 rides per month, some being day rides, some as camping trips and a couple of pack trips.

The chapter will be holding it's 2nd Annual Poker Ride on June 29, 2002 and plans to hold a gymkhana show in August or September 2002.

All Pendleton chapter Back Country Horsemen rides, events and meetings are open to the public (and free of charge, with the exception of the Poker Ride and gymkhana show). If you are interested in attending an event, ride or meeting, please contact us, we would be very happy to provide you with more information and details.

JOIN THE CLUB:

If you decide you would like to join the Pendleton Chapter BCH, please contact us for a membership form.  Single memberships are $28.00 and Family memberships are $36.00 for the calendar year.  If you join after September 1st, your dues will count towards the following calendar year.

Your membership dues pay for your local dues, and automatically make you a member of the Oregon State BCH and the BCH of America.  As a result, you will receive newsletters from all 3 organizations, keeping you informed of pertinent information happening at the local, state and national levels.
